Online Pre-Departure Orientation Program!

Greetings from EQI!

EQI is proud to announce the launch of its new Online Pre-Departure Orientation Program! Students from Term Three, 2009 will receive a log-in to the program.

The program offers students an online, animated and Interactive Queensland experience to help set realistic expectations and to better prepare them for life at a Queensland Government School. Students can experience Queensland through the animated characters Ji, from China and Nikki, from Switzerland. Created in conjunction with Mediasphere, a Brisbane based e-learning specialist, the EQI Online Pre-departure Orientation Program is an interactive ESL student induction program introducing students to life at a Queensland Government School.

Please log in to the pre-departure program by following the steps on the attached Certificate that will arrive with the CoE. Students require their student number (as written on their CoE) and their birth date to log in. Students will have access to the program for up to 12 months once they first register to allow them to re-visit
it during their stay in Queensland.

The program also has an audit tool to allow EQI to identify any students who have not used the program.
